Rain certainly didn’t stop us getting out for a walk today. We managed to still visit Byland and then drove upto Sutton Bank to check out the views through the mist and rain.
Looking out to Hood Hill and Roulston Scar just out of shot.
This Bench is a memorial to the crew of Halifax JD105 which crashed on the hill top on night of 4/5 May 1943 killing 5 of the 8 man crew.
Rainy days don’t have to mean bad days here in Yorkshire.
